The Institute began its first enrollment with only 26 students and its financial support came from American Church offerings and parents´ payments. Funds weren´t enough to cover operational costs, so Teachers and Pastors served passionately without receiving a pay for their duties, believing that it was a calling to serve God.
The Institute had financial issues, so leaders from la Iglesia Evangélica de Santidad de Honduras and la Misión Evangélica Mundial (EEUU) established la Asociación de Instituciones Educativas Evangélicas de Santidad (ADIEEDS), getting its legal status in January 2nd 1978. La ADIEEDS was created with the objective to follow the vision and beliefs of boosting the development of the Institute, the members of the Association are serving as volunteers that fight for an excellent progress of the Institute.
